With 13 years of hairdressing experience under her belt, Louise is a true master of her craft. She began her journey in Christchurch moving to Rangiora, making a move back to Christchurch, and ultimately returned to her roots, eager to reconnect with the wonderful clients she’s built lasting relationships with over the years, and now welcoming new clients. Louise takes great joy in offering expert advice and transforming her clients’ looks with unique cuts, stunning colors, and fabulous blow waves. Nothing brings her more happiness than witnessing the smiles on her clients’ faces as they leave looking and feeling amazing! Louise also loves to have a good laugh with her clients.

Nat has over 35 years hairdressing experience having trained and qualified in London. She brings to us her vast expertise in all aspects of hairdressing; she specialises in razor cutting, short hair and had much experience in the art of balayage (which is a colouring technique targeted for those who want minimal maintenance). Maxine has been hairdressing for almost 50 years!!! We have the pleasure in sharing that she is the longest serving staff member of the Hair Handlers family, she has worked at Hair Handlers for an astounding 30 years!!!! She has seen many trends come and go and adapts her skills to all aspects of hairdressing. Maxine is a specialist in perming, she is fondly known as our 'Perm Queen' Maxine also loves to do weekly sets, Blow wave, cut and colour hair. Meet Lauryn, our talented apprentice who's quickly becoming a rising star in the world of hairdressing. With a passion for learning and a keen eye for detail, Lauryn is dedicated to mastering the art of hairdressing. She's been learning new skills in various colour techniques and is now producing stunning foiling work that's sure to impress. Lauryn's true strength lies in her ability to make every client feel pampered and at ease in the salon. She takes great care in ensuring that each client feels relaxed and comfortable, whether they're in for a quick trim or a full-on makeover. As the friendly face of our salon, Lauryn is often the first point of contact for our clients, and she'll be delighted to help you book an appointment with one of our talented stylists at a time that suits you. She's also an integral part of our behind-the-scenes team, assisting our stylists to ensure that every appointment runs smoothly and on schedule.

Kim has been hairdressing for 25 years. She is one of Hair Handlers longest serving stylists, we have had the pleasure of Kim's talents for 14 years!!! Kim is competent in all areas of hairdressing. She specialises in colour work including; but not limited to, foiling, colour correction, fashion colour to name a few. We are very fortunate to also offer Kim's skills with 'Hair ups' including weddings, formals. Kim has a lovely chilled and relaxed vibe.
